The role of Accounts Payable Clerk will put you in a position to support our highest producing divisions thus you'll have opportunities to grow and learn in a fast paced (never dull) environment. What's more, you'll work with a strong team of dedicated individuals.

The company sells high end technology to the manufacturing space across the country.

Responsibilities

Perform general A/P duties to include recording and setting up for payment all invoices, work vendor statements, maintain & update vendor account info as required,
“Post” all invoices by matching into computer against PO and receiving
Verification & coding of overhead expense invoicing/employee expense reports
Prepare funds request and process checks for all invoices due on check run date
Process positive pay electronic transmissions to bank/maintain check reports and all check activities
Communicates with all departments, inter-companies, and vendors
Process inter-company invoices/run various reports @ month end & as needed
Special assignments/projects as requested
Assist controllers as needed
Maintain files in a current status
Process invoices and answer vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
Process checks for payments, reconciliation of vendors accounts.
Resolve vendor issues
Filing
Verification and coding of expense reports.
Must be able to run various reports.
Support month-end closing.
Performs inter-company billings.
Special assignments as needed
