Position Overview: We are seeking a Legal Intern to assist the COO/Legal Advisor in various legal matters, including corporate governance, compliance, contract management, and legal research. This unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity for law students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in a corporate legal environment, with the possibility of transitioning to a paid internship after 60 days based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
Support the COO/Legal Advisor in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Participate in the preparation of legal correspondence and documentation.
Help maintain and organize legal files and records.
Attend virtual meetings and take minutes, summarizing key points and action items.
Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a law degree (LLB) or a recent graduate from a recognized law school.
Strong understanding of legal principles and practices.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
