Scanning/Imaging Technician - Remote

Job Summary: We seek an experienced Scanning/Imaging Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and an expert command in 3D laser scanning and/or 3D imaging for both building exteriors and interiors. The primary responsibilities include creating BIM models from scan data and ensuring accurate data through QA/QC principles. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in various modeling areas, including Architecture, Interior Design, Structural and Geotechnical, Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Safety, Elevator, Electrical (Power and Lighting), and Construction.

Responsibilities:

Conduct 3D laser scanning and/or 3D imaging for building exteriors and interiors.

Create detailed BIM models from scan data.

Implement QA/QC principles to ensure data accuracy.

Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

Provide technical expertise in scanning/imaging technologies.

Serve as the principal 3D Laser Scanning/Imaging service provider for projects.

Apply domain knowledge to modeling tasks.

Qualifications:

· US Citizen or Resident green card holder

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scanning/Imaging Technician.

· Expert command in 3D laser scanning and/or 3D imaging.

· Familiarity with QA/QC principles.

· Domain expertise in modeling areas (Architecture, Interior Design, Structural and

Geotechnical, Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Safety, Elevator, Electrical).

· Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
