As a Business Analyst

Your key responsibilities will include:

Frequently collaborating on project management efforts by assisting in structuring projects, engaging in key client interactions, and generating deliverables as required.
Analyzing operational and project processes, assessing efficiency, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
Supporting the development of high-quality presentations and documents for client engagements.
Gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and inform critical business decisions.
Managing budgeting and forecasting for large-scale projects, and communicating with clients on project financials and timelines.
Assisting in the development of dashboards and reports to track key project milestones, financial metrics, and internal key performance indicators (KPIs).

As an ideal candidate you will have

Have a strong background in business analysis, preferably within the utility or power distribution industries or similar sectors.
Be skilled at interpreting data and translating it into actionable business insights.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 platform, particularly Excel and Power Apps including Power BI, Power Platforms, and Power Automate.
Comfortability in utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate processes, identify requirements, and provide data-driven reports and suggestions to executives and stakeholders.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strong attention to detail.
Possess a growth mindset, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and contribute to company success.
Excel in both written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Be adaptable, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Your qualifications would include

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in finance and/or data analysis, supporting finance, business, or operations teams.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to use insights from large data sets to craft compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in managing and monitoring complex data sets to support the development and execution of business intelligence strategies.
Skilled in analyzing data trends, ensuring data accuracy, and leveraging insights to drive informed decision-making and optimize business operations.
Willingness to develop expertise across all aspects of our client’s operations.

Preferred experience would be

Advanced proficiency in using a variety of Power Apps including Power BI, Power Platforms, and Power Automate.
Relevant advanced degree and/or certifications.
Proven impact on business performance through a track record of participating in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
Familiarity with the utility industry or power distribution.
