Causal IQ is searching for a detail-oriented remote Accounting Coordinator with strong excel skills. The candidate will be responsible for various aspects within AR and AP to help support the accounting and finance department. The candidate will help facilitate the daily accounting activities and month-end close process through monthly billing, bank reconciliations, AP payments and various other tasks. Our Accounting Coordinator will work closely with other members of the accounting and finance department as well as Causal IQ’s Account Managers for monthly billing. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to expand their knowledge of accounting, grow their career and dive deeper into both the accounting/finance world, as well as the programmatic media space.

Key Responsibilities

Providing consistent delivery of superior customer service to clients, contacts and team members through all communication methods (phone, email, IM)
Assisting the Causal IQ Accounting Team with producing monthly billing and collections
Invoicing clients and dealing with invoicing reconciliations and queries
US invoicing and queries surrounding invoices
Payment application to corresponding client accounts
Generating AP Publisher payments and reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Generating summary reports for AR allocations
Ensuring the accurate data entry and tracking of monthly receivables across companies
Posting debit and credit memos to client accounts
Reconciling client balances
Prioritizing and meeting deadline specific requests
Accounts Receivable reconciliation as needed
Accounts Payable reconciliation as needed
Additional responsibilities as requested by management

Key Competencies

Displays desire to learn and adapt quickly
Ability to work well under pressure with co-workers and clients
Proficiency in Excel
Must have strong communication, organization and time management skills with an accurate, analytic approach
Must be committed to “continuous improvement” and possess a problem solver capability
Ability to take ownership on projects and work independently
Detail oriented and able to effectively organize and manage multiple responsibilities

Experience and Education

1+ years relevant work experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant coursework experience

Salary Range

The expected base salary range for this position is $55k to $65k. We will take into consideration many factors including geographic location, work experience, market demands and conditions, and other job-related factors. The base pay is subject to change and will be determined based on these job-related factors.
