Office Manager

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment and supporting our employees. This job role will also have a variety of administrative tasks so requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is predominantly based in our London office, however, requires travel to our Reading office once a week.

Key Duties Include:

Office Management:

Manage office supplies, equipment, and mail distribution.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Manage office supply inventory and order as needed.
Coordinate office equipment purchases and maintenance.

Health and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement safety measures in the office.

Administrative Support:

Coordinate schedules and meetings for executives and team members.
Answer calls and assist visitors.
Plan team-building activities and company events.
Arrange logistics for conferences and off-site events.
Coordinate employee travel arrangements.
Assist in developing and managing the office budget.

Employee Onboarding and HR:

Assist in on boarding new employees.
Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance.
Handle employee inquiries on HR matters.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
Knowledge of HR practices and compliance is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
