As a screenwriter, you will be responsible for reading web novels, romance stories and adapting their essence into compelling screenplays. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing screenplays and possess a deep understanding of TV shows, soap operas, and romance novels. You will need to write quickly, efficiently and work closely with other writers to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate would have a background of at least 5 years of writing and a strong interest in storytelling, preferably in the romance, drama genre. Responsibilities

Read web novels to understand their themes, plots, and characters and use them as references for writing original screenplays.

Work remotely to write compelling original content and deliver on a deadline.

Flexibility to work across different time zones and attend weekly team meetings.

Work with the writing team to develop dramatic characters and evocative storylines.

Reference data to enhance in-app viewer retention.

Provide constructive feedback and foster writing team collaboration.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of screenwriting experience.

Strong creative screenwriting skills, particularly in romance and drama.

Bachelor’s degree in history, English, Fine Arts, Screenwriting, or a related field preferred.

Being comfortable writing hour-long romance/drama screenplays.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong interest in reading novels, preferably in the romance genre.

Passion for content creation and prior experience in the field is a plus.

Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.
