Equine Network is looking for a smart, humble and detailed-oriented Application Developer to join our team. Our application developers produce and support our portfolio of equine-related software products using a variety of languages, frameworks and technologies. This position reports to our Director Software Engineering & Solution Architecture.

Qualifications (Education and Work Experience Requirements)

Computer Science Preferred
5-7+ years experience building and maintaining "highly available" applications and services with the following technologies:
- Back-end: C#, .NET, ASP, etc.
- Data: SQL Language, SQL Server, etc.
- Cloud: Azure

Preferred competency with the following technologies:

Front-end: Javascript, Bootstrap, CSS, Angular, Jquery, etc.
Moblie: Flutter (Dart), Expo, ReactNative, etc.
Data: Working with API's, etc.
A willingness to work with legacy technologies and hardware and across mediums (web, mobile, software)
Working knowledge of secure coding principles, distributed version control (GIT), responsive design and agile development methodologies
Mentor less experienced developers
Responsible for advanced functionality, business logic and architecture across the suite of equine-related software products.
Awesome communication skills - both written and verbal. You correct autocorrect, you send updates before someone asks for them. College degree in computer science or related field preferred

Additional Job Requirements

While the Equine Network has offices in Stephenville, TX, Albuquerque, NM and Boulder, CO, our development team works 100% remote and maintains central-time working hours (9-5pm). Periodic travel for meetings, team-building and professional development is required for this position.
