We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer for our innovative dashboard visualization technology. This position will work with our dashboard and engineering team to develop dashboards for new clients, along with making updates to existing dashboards.

First Arriving is a fast-growing technology and marketing company serving public safety and local government based in Richmond, Virginia with clients across North America.

Roles and Responsibilities

Build out dashboards for new clients using our JSON-based configuration tool
Update existing dashboard per client requests
Interpret codebases in order to diagnose bugs
Collaborate with the frontend and backend teams
Provide additional client facing support as needed

Qualifications

Computer Science or related field (Software Engineering, Web Development) bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience.
Proficient in JavaScript ES6+ and React.
Well versed in CSS
Knowledge of REST APIs, as well as ability to work with different data formats such as XML and JSON.
Experience with git.
Experience with project management software, such as Jira.
Bash proficiency.
Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal skills while communicating with customers as well as employees.
Strong time management skills.

Bonus

QA experience.
Experience with websockets.
CI/CD experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
