FREELANCE COPYWRITER

Furman Roth Advertising seeks talented freelance copywriters with strong advertising experience. If your creative style meets our needs, we can provide a steady stream of challenging and fun assignments.

Assignments are both digital/social and traditional media. Each assignment varies – from exploratory concept campaigns to simply requiring Headlines for Banner ads or Out of Home, to everything in between.

Must have proven conceptual and writing samples showing work on a variety of projects and categories. Major focus typically Higher Ed, but also assignments available for Automotive, Retail, and Nonprofits.

Also, if you are a “Hybrid” creative who also has a strong proficiency in graphic design, please let us know.

Skills:

Proficient experience as copywriter on various types of creative assignments
Strong conceptual and strategic thinker
Ability to think out of the box
Ability to think conceptually, but also strong in execution
Able to adapt and write in different voices
Ability to iterate concepts in a variety of styles and translate creative direction across different channels
Ability to articulate ideas in a clear, meticulous, and thoughtful manner
Strong ability to receive and assess constructive feedback and adjust work appropriately
Dependable and flexible with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

4+ years agency, freelance or in-house experience
Portfolio/website that displays examples of work reflecting expertise in writing, conceptual thinking and activations
Adhere to a high level of confidentiality
Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
