The Global Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing solutions addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation. By collaborating with leaders and key stakeholders from a cross-section of industry, government, non-profit, and academia, GCIC works to catalyze climate actions and solutions with innovation at the centre. Our goal is to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and combat the effects of the epidemic and global warming.

Job Content

Expand and maintain the network of relationships within the expert think tank; proactively contact experts and professors who meet the think tank's criteria and establish cooperative relationships.
Actively understand institutions, think tanks, and research institutes related to sustainable development; be responsible for coordinating and communicating with think tanks and universities in various countries and maintaining good interactive relationships.
Responsible for GCIC’s external public relations and outreach, participated in various online and offline climate change-related summit activities, and continuously consolidated and expanded public relations resources.
Stay informed about the dynamics of think tanks and relevant public opinions, timely collect and organize media information and trends, and manage crisis warnings effectively.
Design and develop interactive projects with expert think tanks both domestically and internationally, and develop research projects.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with an overseas background, graduates in public relations, climate change, journalism, marketing, or related fields preferred.
Outgoing and sociable personality, stable and careful.
Excellent language skills in both Chinese and English, negotiation skills, and team coordination capabilities.
Strong ability to write outreach emails in Chinese and English, passionate about low-carbon development and academic research.
Experience in project design, external liaison, think tanks, climate change work, and NGO-related experience preferred.
