Overview:

GovGPT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UAV Software Engineer to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in the PX4 codebase and the ability to develop AI for autonomous target flight. The engineer should also be proficient in operating FPV (First Person View) systems with an optional switchover mode at frequencies under 735 MHz.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain UAV software with a strong focus on the PX4 codebase.
Develop AI algorithms for autonomous target flight, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
Implement and optimize FPV systems, including switchover mode operations at frequencies under 735 MHz.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of UAV software to ensure performance and safety.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience with the PX4 codebase and UAV software development.
Proven track record of developing AI for autonomous flight applications.
Strong knowledge of FPV systems and experience with switchover mode operations at frequencies under 735 MHz.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
