Privacy Program Manager/Analyst

InfoLawGroup LLP is seeking a Privacy Program Manager/Analyst to work with our attorneys on a variety of client matters, including managing data subject requests (DSRs), DPAs, contract management and various other privacy compliance matters.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills and responsiveness, an unwavering attention to detail and deadlines, and constant, effective communication with both internal attorneys and third parties in a fast-paced environment. This person will work primarily remotely. Applicant must live in one of these locations: Chicago, DC, Austin or Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

You will work, often directly with clients, on projects such as:

Creating processes and managing the day-to-day workflow for DSRs, including monitoring and managing client privacy inboxes, implementing and maintaining manual or automated systems for processing DSRs (such as through OneTrust, TrustArc or another vendor), and addressing consumer opt-outs;
Establishing procedures and processes to support the DPA process, including review of DPAs in accordance with standards and checklists and maintaining client contract management systems;
Analyzing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and working with internal teams to complete DPIAs;
Project management work in other areas of firm work;
Assisting with annual audits and trainings.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
2+ years of work experience in a related area and direct experience with privacy management projects
Ability to independently develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and analyze issues and devise solutions and strategies.
Ability to independently manage own workload while working in a primarily remote-work environment and ask for assistance or clarification when needed.
Detail-oriented with strong, yet concise, writing, grammatical, and proof-reading skills.
Conceptual thinker with excellent judgment.
Can handle complex matters, with multiple initiatives occurring simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial, business-minded and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Possesses the ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential client matters.
Demonstrates integrity in all situations.
Some travel for internal and client meetings is expected.
Contracts, privacy, or consulting experience a plus.
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP or CIPM) or other relevant professional certification a plus.
