Vice President of Business Development - Boston, MA - Construction (Healthcare focus)

The Vice President of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth in the healthcare sector. This individual will lead the business development team, craft strategic partnerships, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare construction market.

The VP will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and expand the company’s presence across the Boston area and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the firm's healthcare construction portfolio.

- Market Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including managing the pipeline of projects and partnerships in the healthcare construction market.

- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive new business.

- Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and project teams to ensure alignment on goals and project pursuits.

- Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals and bids, ensuring they align with client expectations and company capabilities.

- Industry Involvement: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments affecting healthcare construction.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

- 10+ years of experience in business development, with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in healthcare.

- Proven track record of securing large-scale healthcare projects.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to build and lead high-performing teams.

- Knowledge of the Boston healthcare market is a must.
