Description Summary: KaTom Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking an experienced, energetic, and creative Graphic Designer who loves a challenge, understands the constraints/opportunities provided by designing for eCommerce, and wants to see their work come out looking great. KaTom offers over 130,000 products on our site, and we need a team player to help us market and promote every one of them via emails, banner ads, and more. PLEASE NOTE: This is an on-site position, no freelancers.

Responsibilities:

Create online banners, infographics, email blasts, ads, design articles, and other supplemental graphics.
Create printed materials, posters, billboards, flyers, t-shirts, swag and more.
Manipulate photos, create composites and illustrate other marketing collateral.
Understand marketing messages/campaigns and how they drive people to our site.
Work within our brand guidelines and help to continuously evolve/develop our brand.
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Requires regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field with at least 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in graphic design, communications, and presentation design.
Solid and thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is required).
Familiar with Apple operating systems.
Aptitude for working with computers and learning new software.
Flexible with company growth and development.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with Figma preferred.
Participation in an ecommerce site redesign or design of new page layouts preferred.
Experience with UI/UX and best practices for ecommerce design preferred.
Have an understanding of responsive design, preferred.
Experience designing within parameters that perform well across mobile, desktop, laptop, tablet and other devices, preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as information regarding bid specifications, product information, etc. Proficiency in English language is required to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Other Qualifications: Willingness to perform any required task within the employee’s capabilities in order to effectively meet the needs of the company. Ability to get along well with others.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and listen. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the environment is generally climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
