Analytics Engineer - Lahzo

We’re looking for a seasoned Analytics Engineer to join our rapidly growing AI startup. You’ll be at the forefront of our data efforts, owning and leading data transformation processes to ensure our AI Agents and stakeholders have access to meaningful, high-quality data. You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to push for data excellence and create stability as we continue to expand.

The Role

You’ll take full ownership of data transformations, ensuring that every data pipeline is built with the highest quality standards. You won’t just be implementing; you’ll be proactively driving improvements, making the most of SQL, BigQuery, and Dataform to create scalable, reliable data solutions that empower our clients and internal teams.

You’ll work hands-on, designing and implementing data models and ETL/ELT processes to meet the specific needs of our clients and AI agents. Your expertise will help us create stable and scalable dashboards and ensure that all metrics align perfectly with business needs.

You’ll collaborate closely with a data engineer and stakeholders on the advertising side. It’s a role that demands a combination of technical depth, strategic thinking, and a keen eye for detail to create data solutions that elevate our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end data transformation process, delivering high-quality, reliable data pipelines.
Build and optimize SQL-based transformations using BigQuery and Dataform.
Design data models and client-specific dashboards to support data-driven
decision-making.
Push for continuous improvement in data quality, ensuring metrics are accurate and
meaningful.
Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver insights that drive
outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in SQL, BigQuery, and Dataform or dbt, with a proven track record in data transformation.
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
Passion for data quality and continuous improvement, with a willingness to advocate for high standards.
Experience creating dashboards for B2B clients, with a clear focus on business value.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data issues in simple
terms.
Self-motivated and opinionated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and
improvement.
