We are seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to help us with our diverse array of work, and to help us grow!

The ideal candidate will manage medium sized, moderate-complexity projects for LGeo’s diverse client base. Typically these projects will be between $50,000 and $200,000 in budget and have timeframes of six months to a year or more. The Intermediate PM balances timeline, budget management and priorities of several projects, including the management of internal project staff and subcontractors. We are primarily looking for project management experience, ideally in a consulting environment, so the ideal candidate doesn’t necessarily have to be a GIS analyst or Data Scientist. However, the job still requires a firm grasp of technical components of any given assignment. Educational background, experience and/or interest in urban planning and development, housing, infrastructure planning, transportation planning, logistics and routing, energy and emissions quantification and forecasting, climate adaptation, and/or social equity is a big plus!

The primary requirements of this position are:

Knowledge

Generally, some post-secondary education in a relevant field such as planning, geographic information systems, civil engineering, geography etc.
Specific sectoral knowledge in land use forecasting, housing, transportation and energy and emissions is preferred but not required.

Experience:

Generally, 4-6 years of project management experience dealing with client management and project management as above.
Generally, a minimum of 5 years in a consulting environment

Additionally, the Intermediate PM must be aware of the business context of their projects and continually drive to build value for their clients and unlock and pursue new opportunities for the company.

Our salary range for this position is 85k-100k, dependent on relevant experience.
