Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Test Engineer at MSP. The Test Engineer will be responsible for test engineering, test execution, creating test cases, conducting various types of testing including functional testing.

Responsibilities

Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for AWS Cloud applications and system interfaces, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate closely with cloud software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to grasp requirements and define precise test scenarios.
Develop and deploy tests utilizing testing frameworks and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze test results, identify trends and patterns, and communicate defects and issues to the development team as needed.
Comprehensively document test procedures, test cases, and results for traceability and reproducibility of tests.
Engage in code reviews, sprint planning sessions, and other Agile/Scrum proceedings to contribute insights on testability and quality aspects.
Stay current on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, actively sharing knowledge and insights with team members.

Qualifications

Test Engineering and Test Execution skills
Experience in creating test cases and conducting testing
Functional Testing proficiency
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus
