Nice Gang is a well-funded gaming startup with a veteran creative team from King, Activision, Disney, and Twentieth Century Fox. We are currently in soft launch for our mobile squad RPG, Eighth Era, the first mobile game to reward players with physical coins.

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee our company’s social media strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive social media plan that drives engagement, brand awareness, and sales.

Responsibilities:

Report to and collaborate with the creative director
Work with the marketing team to develop and amplify campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X
Plan and maintain the social media content calendar
Schedule and post content across multiple social platforms, such as text posts, graphics, and video for multiple social media platforms, keeping best practices in mind, i.e. selecting the right thumbnails for IG reels/TT.
Respond to the audience and customers on social media, utilizing customer care best practices and engagement techniques
Actively create content, such as text posts, lofi memes, and templatized assets
Monitor Eighth Era’s social media & Discord communities
Ensure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story, and voice for the target audience
Some evening and weekend work will be required depending on the needs of the posting cadence

Qualifications:

2 years of social media manager experience
Knowledge of the gaming industry preferred

Skills:

Self-motivated team player
Excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
Strong writing, organizational, project management, and time management skills
Intermediate experience with Adobe Photoshop
Graphic design and editing skills preferred
Understanding of social media KPIs to assist with tracking and interpreting metrics to enhance user engagement and suggest content optimization

Pay:

$60k-$70k
