Surgical Associates at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) actively seeks a highly skilled and dedicated full-time General Surgeon to join our esteemed practice. Our facility boasts a collaborative and supportive environment where you will work alongside experienced providers, including 1 MD, 1 DO, and 1 PA-C.

At NVRH, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of general surgery services within our state-of-the-art facility, conveniently located within your community.

The General Surgeon will be responsible for performing various general surgical procedures, including skin lesion excisions, gall bladder removal, hernia repair, advanced laparoscopy (including colon resection), endoscopy/colonoscopy, and ideally, breast biopsies. The daily caseload typically ranges from 6-10 cases or 15-18 outpatient visits, Monday through Friday, with shared call duties (1:3). Vascular surgery is not included in this role.
