Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Pascarella Accounting Group, LLC. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as maintaining accurate clients' financial data with QuickBooks Online, posting payroll JEs on a weekly/biweekly basis, filing sales taxes on a monthly/quarterly basis based on clients' filing requirements, preparing financial statements, monthly accounts' reconciliations, analyzing financial data, posting yearly closing entries, preparing tax returns, and assisting with payroll services.

Qualifications

Bookkeeping for clients across various industries
Strong knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Monthly bank reconciliations
Ability to prepare journal entries
Sales and use tax filings
Financial Analysis and Reporting skills
Understanding of tax implications based on entities and financial statements
Payroll Processing and Compliance knowledge
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA certification is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5+ years’ experience required
Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete job responsibilities with minimal assistance
