Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Reading and Writing (Language Arts) Tutor at PeerLink Tutoring LLC. The tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring sessions, developing educational materials, conducting reading and writing exercises, and assisting students with language arts skills. Once the tutor has passed the interview/screening process, the tutor will be part of the official PeerLink network and will be promptly connected with students when available.

Qualifications

Middle School and Literature expertise
Strong knowledge of Social Studies and Language Arts
Experience in Curriculum Development
Passion for teaching and helping students improve their language arts skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field

Pay

Pay starts at $18.75 per hour, and pay may increase depending on the price settled with the student/parent.

Interview Process

Applicants will need to complete a minimum of two rounds of interviews by the end of the current week 8/25/24 - 8/31/24.
Applicants will be informed of their status by the end of the week.
