For our growing work with international partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable English-speaking Football Editor to join our team.

As a Football Editor, you will be responsible for creating and managing engaging and informative content related to the world of football. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the game and possess exceptional editorial and writing skills. This position requires prior experience working in a football environment or the corporate world.

Key responsibilities

• Text production: Produce high-quality written content on various football-related topics.

• Editing and proofreading: Review and edit articles for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent tone and voice.

• Research: Conduct thorough research on football-related subjects to gather accurate information and stay updated with the latest news, trends, and developments in the industry

• Content management: Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and organize articles, images, videos, and other multimedia content.

• Being a team player: Work closely with writers, contributors, and other team members to generate fresh content ideas, provide feedback, and ensure content is delivered within deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong passion for football: In-depth knowledge of football and passion for the game.

• Native proficiency in the English language: Including exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

• Writing and editing skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in grammar, syntax,

and style is essential.

• Adaptability and time management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines and

manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to evolving priorities, handle occasional weekend work or irregular hours to cover tournaments.
