At PSYKHE AI, we use deep learning and psychographic attribution, to deliver a next-generation personalization solution for ecommerce. We serve both our retail clients and their end-consumers. We're seeking a front-end engineer with good React experience to help us recreate the front-end/UX experience of our Shopify clients and extend our Shopify theme app extension. This is a contract role with the potential to develop into permanent with equity and benefits for the right mutual fit as we have a lot of front-end developments in our roadmap. The role is remote and you can be based anywhere, although EST or European time zones are preferred.

Task Outline

PSYKHE AI's theme app extension is running on Shopify Collection pages. It’s React 18, React-dom, typescript, Tailwind CSS. The theme app extension is installed as a custom application per shop, it is not available publicly. The same extension is used across clients. The configuration per client is extracted to the config file with different kinds of settings like products per page, filter styling, etc, different options. The main CSS is done using Tailwind CSS, and it is also part of this general config file.

Required Qualifications

2+ years' experience with frontend development
2+ years' experience with React
Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Experience working in a startup environment and/or product-led company
Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
