Functieomschrijving

Als Systeem- en applicatiebeheerder ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren en onderhouden van de ICT-infrastructuur en applicaties. Je zorgt samen met je collega’s voor een optimale bescherming en betrouwbaarheid van bedrijf- en persoonsgegevens en daarnaast een zo goed mogelijke bereikbaarheid en werkbaarheid van systemen en data. De werkzaamheden variëren van helpdesk tot beheer en advisering over de beste configuratie van hard- en software.

ICT heeft bij SMST ook een ondersteunende rol binnen de producten die ze in projecten oplevert. Ook daarin hebben netwerken en datasecurity een belangrijke rol. Hier komen IT en OT steeds nauwer samen.

Je ondersteunt gebruikers in hun gebruik van systemen en applicaties. Je bereid de werkplekken voor en onderhoud deze. Je werkt mee aan in het implementeren, onderhouden en ondersteunen van applicaties op servers- en werkstations.

Je bent in deze functie ook betrokken bij het verder ontwikkelen en implementeren van de ICT infrastructuur en applicatielandschap.

Belangrijke begrippen in je functie zullen zijn: virtualisatie, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Entra, Linux, SQL, ERP, PDM, VPN, 3CX, firewalls, netwerken en databeveiliging.

Dit is een doorgroeifunctie waarbinnen je jezelf kunt ontwikkelen in je functie met verdergaande verantwoordelijkheden.

Functie eisen

Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding MBO+ (minimaal niveau 4) of HBO ICT;
Je hebt ervaring met of bent bekend met Windows / (Debian) Linux. Kennis van Windows server producten is een pré;
Je hebt ervaring met de Microsoft 365 applicatie suite. Kennis van het M365 beheer platform en de Azure diensten is een pré;
Je kunt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken;
Je hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel, je gaat analytisch te werk en vindt het leuk om problemen op te lossen;
Je bent proactief en leergierig;
Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel in het Nederlands als Engels;
Je kunt je inleven in je gebruikers en ze jouw IT kennis begrijpelijk overdragen.

For our IT department, we are looking for a System and Application Administrator.

Job description

As a System and Application Administrator, you are responsible for managing and maintaining the ICT infrastructure and applications. Together with your colleagues, you ensure optimal protection and reliability of company and personal data, as well as the best possible accessibility and usability of systems and data. Tasks range from helpdesk support to management and advising on the best configuration of hardware and software. ICT also plays a supporting role at SMST within the products it delivers in projects. Networks and data security also play an important role in this. IT and OT are increasingly merging in this area.

You support users in their use of systems and applications. You prepare and maintain workstations. You contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and support of applications on servers and workstations.

In this role, you are also involved in further developing and implementing the ICT infrastructure and application landscape. Key concepts in your role will be: virtualization, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Entra, Linux, SQL, ERP, PDM, VPN, 3CX, firewalls, networks, and data security.

This is a developmental role where you can develop yourself in your position with increasing responsibilities.

Requirements:

You have completed an MBO+ (minimum level 4) or HBO ICT education;
You have experience with or are familiar with Windows / (Debian) Linux. Knowledge of Windows server products is an advantage;
You have experience with the Microsoft 365 application suite. Knowledge of the M365 management platform and Azure services is an advantage;
You can work independently as well as in a team;
You have a strong sense of responsibility, you work analytically, and enjoy problem-solving;
You are proactive and eager to learn;
You have good communication skills, both in Dutch and English;
You can empathize with your users and convey your IT knowledge to them in an understandable way.
