Digital Marketing Coordinator - Job Description

Suited Hospitality, a dynamic and growing agency, seeks an experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator with a passion for food & beverage-related businesses. Whether it’s a winery, restaurant, or food & beverage product, the ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in these industries. We value multitasking, flexibility, and creativity, as you will handle projects across multiple clients at any given time.

We operate as a small, primarily remote team with occasional in-person meetings. You will work closely with our Director of Marketing, engaging in regular calls and meetings to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth project execution. Occasional local travel to clients for photoshoots, meetings, and special events will be required. Some out-of-area travel may be necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

Write and proofread engaging copy for social media, blog posts, email marketing, and websites.
Assist with the creation and execution of email marketing and social media campaigns.
Respond to client inquiries and provide ongoing support as needed.
Join client meetings, take notes, and manage follow-up action items.
Assist in organizing press and PR events, including photoshoots and openings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and influencers.
Use Canva to create and distribute assets like photographs and graphics.
Analyze and interpret data to improve engagement and reach on digital platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

Social Media: Proven experience managing social media for businesses, creating engaging campaigns, and maintaining brand voice.
Email Marketing: Expertise in creating dynamic, conversion-focused campaigns.
Website Management: Proficiency with Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify; capable of managing and updating website content.
Affiliate & Influencer Marketing: Preferred 1-2 years of experience in affiliate marketing and managing influencer campaigns.
Copywriting: Exceptional grammar and spelling skills with experience writing for blogs, social media, and emails.
Photography: Basic photography skills preferred (having a DSLR is a plus); some experience with editing tools like Photoshop or Lightroom.
Videography: Ability to capture and edit videos for social media platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Story Slides.
Design: Comfortable using Canva, Photoshop, or AI tools to create marketing assets. Familiarity with basic design principles.
Analytics: Capable of creating reports from social media and other digital platforms, using data to refine strategies.

Basic Requirements:

Based in the Bay Area with reliable transportation; able to meet in person 1-2 days per week.
Bachelor’s degree in culinary studies, marketing, communications, or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage businesses. Having worked in a restaurant is a plus.
Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Dropbox, Canva, and photo/video editing software.
Strong understanding of content creation for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with an extremely organized approach.
Ability to work weekends when necessary.
