The Language Doctors, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage our IT infrastructure and operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to oversee complex IT systems, ensure security, efficiency, and alignment with company goals, and provide strategic direction for technology initiatives. The successful candidate will manage a team of IT professionals, ensure compliance with relevant security standards, and implement advanced technology solutions that support our business objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, providing technical leadership and ensuring that all systems are secure, efficient, and meet company standards.
Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including advanced server storage, network management, and application hosting, primarily on AWS platforms.
Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data, including PHI/PII.
Conduct regular, advanced security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with other departments to address IT-related needs and issues, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, software, and hardware to enhance IT infrastructure and operations.
Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, problem-solving, and alignment with company objectives while fostering professional development.

Experience & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of information security experience, with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure, network security, security applications, and technologies.
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced network and security technologies, including complex configurations of firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and Active Directory management.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing and optimizing IT infrastructure in large-scale environments, including hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud and Amazon WorkSpaces.
Experience in strategic IT planning, including evaluating and implementing new technologies and optimizing IT processes.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills, with the ability to handle complex IT challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
US citizenship required.

Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 5:30 pm EST
