Job Title: Commercialization Project Manager

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

Location: Hybrid & Onsite at Client Office in Mississauga

Position Summary:

The Performance Playbook Inc. is seeking a results-driven Commercialization Project Manager to lead and manage the successful launch of new products and services for a key client. This role involves overseeing complex product transfers and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the commercialization process. The position is hybrid, requiring both remote work and on-site presence at the client’s office in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end commercialization projects, ensuring successful product launches and market readiness.
Oversee complex product transfers, coordinating between internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, supply chain, finance, and sales) to align on project objectives and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues quickly to keep projects on track.
Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status and performance metrics.
Coordinate with external partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth product introduction.
Monitor post-launch performance and initiate improvements to commercialization processes as needed.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on product commercialization or new product development.
Proven ability to manage complex product transfers and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong understanding of commercialization processes, from ideation to product launch.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and drive alignment on project goals.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the CPG, retail, or manufacturing industries.
PMP or other project management certification.
