Project Manager - Consumer Products (Personal Care & Deodorants)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the consumer products industry, with a focus on the personal care category . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within scope and budget. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving product innovations to meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage projects through all phases, from initial concept and planning to execution and delivery (start of shipments into the retail trade and Amazon). Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project execution. Facilitate regular communication and coordination between departments to align on project goals and deliverables.
Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resources, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address budgetary or resource challenges.
Timeline Management: Establish and maintain project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to meet project milestones. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and key deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address issues that may impact project success. Proactively manage and resolve project-related challenges to minimize disruption.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with quality assurance teams to conduct testing and validation as needed.
Innovation & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices. Contribute to product innovation and development to keep pace with market trends and consumer needs.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Experience:
3+ years of project management experience in the consumer products industry, with a focus on personal care or related categories preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from inception to completion.
Experience working with multiple external suppliers to deliver a single project is required.
Skills:
Strong project management skills with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar tools).
Attributes:

Proven ability to effectively work remote.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
