Job Title: UI Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements:

Proven UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and knowledge of architecture patterns such as BEM, OOCSS, and SMACSS.
Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or OmniGraffle.
Strong experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS and CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components or Emotion.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Knowledge of atomic design principles and component-based design.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Experience with cross-browser testing and debugging.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
