## Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns for our clients. ## Responsibilities - Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses - Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation, to determine forms needed to file taxes - Utilize accounting software to input and analyze financial data - Provide excellent customer service by answering tax-related questions and concerns - Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance for clients - Identify potential tax credits and liabilities and ensure accurate calculations ## Requirements - Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role - Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar financial software - Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyze data accurately - Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and principles - Familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax regulations clearly - Sales skills to promote additional services to clients If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for numbers and taxation, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Tax Preparer.
