Off-grid communication network startup seeking Senior Android Developer

Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology (software + solar-powered hardware) for Adventurers, Firefighters, DoD, Rescue Operations, and more. They're currently in need of a fully remote Senior Android Engineer to join their team and help scale their product. There is so much opportunity for an established Android Engineer to build new cutting-edge software (that saves lives!) and be part of a company that already has a lot of momentum. Kotlin experts with SDK and device experience (custom hardware, satellite technology, Bluetooth, sensors, etc.) are highly preferred.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

8 years Android development experience
Experience bringing new features from concept to shipped product
Background with SDK, IoT, hardware devices, Bluetooth
Demonstrated experience building Mobile Apps with modern Android Technologies (Kotlin, KMP, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose)
Startup company experience is a big plus
BS degree in CS, Mathematics, or other STEM discipline
Strong communication skills
Collaborative mindset
