Responsibilities

Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit
Leads by investing and building healthy relationships among staff, colleagues and other disciplines
Demonstrates critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety issues within the episode of care. Demonstrates initiative and seeks formal and informal opportunities to improve clinical practice

Required Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state
RN degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required
Extensive clinical experience in long-term care preferred
Possess effective team problem-solving and professional communication skills
