Senior Project Manager specializing in eCommerce Projects

Overview
The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of eCommerce projects within Madcraft's Web department. This position offers the chance to lead digital transformation initiatives and drive web development endeavours for prominent organizations in both Ireland and Philadelphia. Reporting directly to the head of operations, this role holds significant importance within the Madcraft management team. Prior experience with BigCommerce is advantageous but not mandatory for this role -- please highlight this in your application.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee project management function across the agency
- Manage a portfolio of ongoing projects within the development roadmap
- Acting as the main point of contact between the Project Owner on the client side and project teams within Madcraft
- Manage communications and requests from clients
- Brief project teams and resources on tasks to be completed and delivered
- Identify and raise any project risks or concerns with manager
- Ensure project management platforms are kept up to date with key data to track progress of each project and the resources used on each project
- Provide guidance and expertise, alongside in-house subject matter experts, to clients around their website, UX, UI, digital strategy, and eCommerce setup
- Monitor and manage client ad-hoc client requests via the client support & service request channel
Experience & Skills
- Experience working both in a team and independently
- Ability to manage team workloads and schedules
- Experience working with contractors and external providers/agencies
- Experience working with WordPress, BigCommerce, Shopify
- Experience working with any other enterprise-grade CMS
- Experience managing and communicating with clients and stakeholders directly
- Knowledge and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Experience with PM and task management systems such as Trello, Monday, Teamworks, Forecast, Smartsheet, Jira, DevOps etc.
Location
Flexibility between office base (Philadelphia/Dublin) and full-remote working offered. In-person presence at key client meetings as required and determined by HoD.
