The Sales Intern has a role that is intended to be for a six month period and can be parttime or fulltime and requires minimal prior sales experience. The Sales Intern helps others on the sales team with supporting tasks as assigned. This is an entry level position that may lead to the role of Sales Specialist upon completion of the sales internship.
This person's responsibilities are to:
- Be a good communicator, builds trust, eager to learn (Sophrona Brand ambassador).
- Conduct market research: find, review, and qualify leads.
- Identify and add prospects to CRM.
- Make introductory sales calls to schedule meetings for sales team.
- Make follow up calls to prospects and maintain notes in CRM.
- Send marketing communications via email.

Organizational details for this role:
- A person in this role will work 10-20 hours per week, at their convenience from a home office.
- Commission is earned on top of base hourly wage.
- Must be able to meet in person in Boise with sales manager once per week.
