As an Investment Data Analyst, reporting directly to the VP of Acquisitions, your primary focus will involve spearheading the expansion of our portfolio by identifying prospective acquisitions. Your responsibilities will revolve around meticulously indexing marina and RV deal leads, employing innovative strategies for opportunity sourcing, assisting with our underwriting processes, conducting comprehensive data analyses, and managing our deal pipeline. Your keen ability to identify lucrative investment opportunities will be crucial in driving the continued growth and success of the Go Outdoors portfolio. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our acquisition strategy, ensuring that each potential investment aligns with our vision for the company's future. Through your diligent efforts, you'll elevate our presence in the outdoor hospitality sector while maximizing returns for our stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
- Property Sourcing: Utilize proprietary methods to build and maintain our acquisitions database, identifying potential leads in the marina and RV sector.
- Pipeline Management: Organize and monitor our ongoing pipeline of opportunities, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Acquisitions Outreach: Implement innovative outreach strategies to engage potential sellers, continually refining and optimizing our contact methods.
- Market Analyses: Conduct thorough research on marina and RV markets, identifying trends and opportunities to inform our acquisition strategy.
- Underwriting: Support the underwriting process by analyzing data, developing investment models, and validating assumptions throughout due diligence.
- Due Diligence: Assist in aggregating and organizing internal files to meet due diligence requirements efficiently.
- Investment Committee Presentations: Collaborate on presentations for senior stakeholders and private equity partners to secure deal approvals.
- Closing Assistance: Provide support to ensure all closing requirements are met seamlessly.
What you’ll bring along:
- Core competency in finance, accounting, or related fields, demonstrating proficiency in essential concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel. Previous experience with file storage systems (e.g. SharePoint)
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with hospitality, development, or the marina industry a plus.
