The role
We’re looking for an Operations Specialist to manage high-touch service interactions, handle escalations, and validate credentials to enhance the experience of our providers (nurses). In this role, you will collaborate with various internal departments to support business operations and maintain strong relationships with both facilities and providers.

Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid role based in our Irving, TX office, requiring in-office collaboration three days a week.
What You'll Be Doing
- Demonstrating a professional and proactive work ethic while maintaining effective communication with internal team members.
- Providing operational support and managing high-priority credentialing processes according to Shiftkey’s standards.
- Assisting BPO partners with escalations, inquiries, and areas of concern.
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all credentialing activities.
- Responding to both internal and external customer inquiries with professionalism, anticipating issues, and taking proactive steps to resolve them.
- Investigating customer escalations as needed to provide prompt and thorough feedback or solutions.
- Proactively reporting any potential roadblocks, barriers, or concerns to operations leadership.
- Escalating cases to leadership promptly when necessary.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, call center, data entry, or related fields (required)
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred but not required)
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, credentialing, privileging, or quality assurance (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and GSuite products
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
