About the Role:
As the copywriter/content lead at Swap, you will own the whole brand tone of voice and storytelling across all channels, including, but not limited to, web, social, audio, OOH, or influencer. You’ll work directly with the CMO and design lead to craft all content across social channels centered around the annual fashion cycles and commerce calendar. We’re not your typical SaaS company – we strive to be your favorite brand’s favorite brand, that communicates like a DTC brand. You’ll report directly to the CMO.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2-3 years of copywriting experience in e-commerce, retail, or agencies
- Experience with managing copywriting for owned channels across web and social
- Willingness to ideate and collaborate with a broader marketing team
- Team player with the ability to build strong relationships across Swap.
- Open to copywriters who are looking for more on-camera, creator role
- Great communicator, highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Self-starter who’s looking for a growth opportunity to lead storytelling for a brand
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
What your experience might say:
- Has experience in advertising agencies, editorial, or, ideally, a mix of both – can write anything from a TV spot to a client case study
- Be a brand steward of the brand’s tone of voice and be able to adapt it for copy on various channels.
- Ideate and execute sound, creative ideas for marketing.
- Concept new social media campaigns as well as standalone creative assets in response to real-time cultural moments driven by strategic insights
- Ad-hoc copy needs, such as sales decks
- Develop creative concepts for ad campaigns and organic social.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and perform regular, thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify best practices and innovation.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment with business needs and upcoming product improvements.

- a copywriter who is willing to write anything from a TV Spot to a search ad to a long-form case study (and has experience doing all the above)
- a creative who approaches their work with no-ego and is eager to collaborate with our small, but mighty marketing team of four AND our cross-departmental partners in partnerships, sales, and product, making a significant impact on our collective success
- a career-oriented writer who wants to be the author of the next great commerce brand with immense growth opportunities.
