Job Title: Snowflake/AWS Integration Architect
Location: Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL- Hybrid - 2-3 days a week
Position’s Contributions To Work Group
Actual job title would be an Snowflake/AWS Integration Architect As an architect / Engineer you will lead all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, project planning, software system design, coding, testing, release, deployment and support.
Will be optimizing and simplifying existing structures. Leading the team in adapting best practices to increase efficiency.
Typical Task Breakdown
- Review the snowflake integration design - using this design to continue to build multiple use cases
- Manage the CI/CD of snowflake Changes
- Admin the snowflake environment ( Pipe, Warehouse, user ...)
- Automate the data quality activities in snowflake ( Task , workflow)
- Integrate AWS - Snowflake - PowerBI - UI Apps This position will hybrid onsite in Chicago - 2-3 days a week in office. will provide a laptop.
Interaction With Team
- Team consists of 5 people in US and 20 people in India.
Work Environment
- Hybrid role in Chicago/Peoria office ( 3x days onsite)
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related field is required
- 10 years or more of software development experience or at least 8 years of experience with master’s degree in computer science or related field.
REQUIRED: Snowflake certification
REQUIRED: AWS Certification SA (Solutions Architect) or Data and Analytics specialty Critical
Technical Skills (Required)
- 3+ years Snowflake Architect level experience ( Production Grade ): ie previous titles like Data Analytics Architect or Principle Engineer
- 5+ AWS Cloud Experience ( Production Grade)
- 3+ Implementations in snowflake and understand the advanced capabilities like ML Model deployment etc Snowflake Optimization experience ( Auto clustering , Warehouse, Query plan ) etc.
- SQL performance tuning
- Exp with AWS well architected framework
Soft Skills (Required)
- Demonstrated leadership on medium to large-scale projects impacting strategic priorities.
- Ability to cope with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, delegate responsibilities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
