Hours
10-20 hours per week (flexible hours )– Mandatory one-hour weekly team meetings every Monday at 7 pm CT.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex network problems
- Explore and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Train and fine-tune models for optimal performance and accuracy
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to gather requirements
- Write clean and maintainable code, following industry best practices and coding standards, including the “The Power of 10” NASA coding rules
- Implement top-notch military-level security protocols and technologies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of user data and sessions
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any bugs or issues
- Provide support during the review process
- Deploy and monitor models in production environments
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks to improve productivity and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
Requirements
- Strong experience in developing Android applications using Java and Kotlin
- Proficient in the Android development ecosystem, including Android Studio and Gradle
- Solid understanding of OOP concepts and application architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to start immediately
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (must be able to verify)
- Experience in Jira, Confluence, and Lucid Chart is a plus
- A college degree in a relevant field is a plus
