Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Civil General Contractor in the Freeport, FL area on their search for a Project Manager with experience in the civil sector to work on medium to large-scale Civil Construction Projects
The Project Manager will be the company representative at the project site and oversee the entirety of the project. You will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the team's behalf about such items as cost and schedule. The project manager will also take part in selecting and mentoring project staff and ensuring that the entire team works together efficiently to complete the project safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
- Must have experience in the basic responsibilities of project management including:
- scheduling, labor, materials, subcontractors, change orders, cash flows, and marketing
- Proven ability to monitor the status of assigned projects and bring suggestions for
- improvements to the Area Manager in areas such as crew size, performance methods,
- techniques, work quality, value engineering, etc.
- Monitor closely all cost and yields within the area of responsibility and be constantly alert to
- any changes in the relationship of these areas which may be adverse
- Coordinate and control the work of all subcontractors including compliance with job
- specifications, and company policies and procedures
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related (preferred)
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in Site Development, Heavy Civil, Highways/Roadways
- Civil Construction experience
