Position Overview:
As a Content Writer & Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and tone of our brand through compelling and engaging copy/content across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, creative wordsmith, and master storyteller with a proven track record of crafting compelling copy that converts. As a Content Writer & Editor you will play a crucial role in creating and editing persuasive and engaging content across various channels to drive customer actions and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling and persuasive content for diverse marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, emails, social media, ads, blogs, brand packaging, and press releases.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and tone, ensuring alignment with brand personality, values, and messaging strategy.
- Work closely with content strategists to develop content strategies that meet business goals, target audience preferences, and industry trends.
- Generate innovative concepts for marketing campaigns, product launches, and events, translating them into impactful copy for target audience engagement.
- Implement best SEO practices, conduct keyword research, and seamlessly incorporate relevant keywords for improved organic visibility.
- Review and edit copy for accuracy, consistency, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines, enhancing clarity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and product, to align copy with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
- To inform content strategy and messaging, stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Develop high-converting copy for landing pages, email campaigns, product descriptions, advertisements, and other marketing collateral.
- Conduct thorough research on target audiences, market trends, and competitors to inform effective messaging strategies.
- Optimize copy for SEO, ensuring both persuasiveness and search engine-friendliness.
- A/B test and iterate on copy to improve conversion rates and overall performance.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in conversion-focused writing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer & Editor or similar role.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, user experience, and customer behavior.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing successful conversion-focused projects.
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform and optimize copy strategies.
- A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, compelling messages.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Monday, Slack, and related tools is a plus.
Starting Salary: $60,000
