An independent media group with a reach that goes into the millions, we prioritize boutique-oriented establishments, avoiding anything hyper-commercialized or mega-resort-like.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Partnerships at Hotels Above Par. As the Director of Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with different brands, from tourism bureaus to clothing lines, and everything in between. Additionally, the candidate will help ideate and develop other revenue models for the company. The person filling this position will also have the opportunity to write articles for Hotels Above Par, which means comped travel to boutique hotels around the world (this writing part of the job is optional and completely up to the person's decision). This role can be either hybrid or fully remote. When working with Hotels Above Par, you will earn a salary and 25% commission on closed deals.
Qualifications
- Experience in strategic partnerships and planning
- More than three years of media sales experience
- Has worked closely with social media
- Paid media experience
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Strong contacts with tourism bureaus and travel-related companies (or brands as a whole) with whom Hotels Above Par could potentially partner
- Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus
