Digital Marketing Specialist - Job Description
HealthXL® provides Virtual Care Services (“VCS”) under the guidelines of Medicare’s Chronic Care Management (“CCM”) and Remote Patient Monitoring (“RPM”) programs. The Digital Marketing Specialist (“DMS”) distributes relevant and timely external facing Marketing content via website, social media, email, blogs, newsletters, and traditional mail, and tracks effectiveness of campaigns. This
full-time, onsite position has a matrix reporting structure and is based in Tampa, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website
- Tracks website traffic and lead generation metrics
- Creates analytics reports for stakeholders and adjusts tactics accordingly
- Implements drip Marketing campaigns to complement direct selling activities
- Maintains content calendar for social media and blog
- Publishes digital content and blogs on our website using WordPress
- Maintains up to date HealthXL presence on all social media platforms
- Researches competitors’ activity, content, and online presence
- Follows healthcare industry trends; collaborates internally to identify subject areas for content. Conducts market research to inform campaigns
- Facilitates Marketing campaigns – proofreading, distribution, and QA
- Works in coordination with JD Marketing, consultant, and third parties to produce and QA traditional collateral
- Works with Sales Team to keep them stocked with sales collateral and ensure customer/practices are supplied with branded enrollment brochures
Qualifications
- Demonstrates iCare values (Excellence, Growth, Integrity)
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or General Business with relevant work experience
- Demonstrated background in digital and traditional Marketing; ability to wear multiple hats, and drive projects to timely completion
- Hands-on experience with website analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush
- Intermediate understanding of on-page SEO optimization, technical SEO, and keyword research
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience distributing content via targeted and automated emailing (e.g., Constant Contact)
- Creative thinker; ability and urgency to implement new ideas
- Active on social media; aware of online trends and best practices
- Strong attention to detail exhibited in all aspects of QA, editing, postings, and distribution
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing, time sensitive tasks; meets deadlines
- Works well both independently and collaboratively
- Solid presentation skills; ability to present concepts in a compelling manner to relevant parties
