This year our main focus is consolidating our internal processes and focusing on bringing our product to the next level, in order to maximize the strength of our position within the market.
What we’re looking for
We seek an experienced B2B SaaS Content Marketing Manager to contribute to our content strategy and help us increase our overall content output and quality. We are still a small team, and we move fast, so you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and help us create various types of content. We get most of our leads and sales pipeline from organic search, so you need to have an advanced level of on-page SEO knowledge. We're seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about the marketing data industry and excited about becoming deeply acquainted with our product and our Ideal Customer Persona (ICP).
What you will do
- Content Strategy: contribute to our overall content and SEO strategy to support our marketing objectives and address the pain points of our target audience along the buyer’s journey.
- Research and Write SEO Articles: generate new long-form, SEO-optimized articles that get us on the first page of search engines. Update existing articles to improve their ranking.
- Content Quality and Editing: act as a main editor for a 5 person marketing team and ensure that the content that we produce is engaging, high quality, grammatically, and factually correct.
- Perform Keyword Research: identify relevant keywords to enhance our product visibility and search engine ranking.
- Product Marketing Collaboration: work closely with product marketing to understand our product and ideal customer persona, creating content that resonates and drives leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate on Integrated Campaigns: partner with demand generation to develop content for integrated campaigns and ensure effective content distribution.
- Content Performance Analysis: utilize analytics tools to analyze the performance of content assets and recommend improvements.
- Social Media Content Creation: contribute to increasing brand awareness through social media content creation and distribution.
- Manage and Coach Writers: oversee and mentor both internal and external writers as we continue to scale our content production.
Job requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS content creation, preferably within the marketing data industry.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, and a portfolio demonstrating your ability to create informative and engaging content. Native-level proficiency in English.
- Experience in creating most of the following types of content - articles, whitepapers, emails, social media posts, videos, webinars, podcasts, and presentations.
- Experience in managing other writers (internal and outsourced).
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and analyze content performance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Advanced level knowledge of modern on-page SEO strategies and tactics.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup environment.
- Previous experience with creating technical content for marketer ICP would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with social media marketing would be an advantage.
