ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and passionate Marketing Manager (who will also be responsible for owning and running the Social Media accounts for the Brand) who loves working with fast growing, consumer facing digital content brands with loads of potential. WeRise is an ambitious and fast-moving business and we need people who embrace this ethos. The scope of this role is deliberately broad - we need someone who is comfortable with implementing brand marketing strategies, executing customer marketing initiatives, planning and briefing content marketing ideas, and leading on business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will love working with plenty of autonomy and bringing an entrepreneurial flair to the role, which is focused on growing our brand audience, sales and our offering. The candidate selected will be comfortable working with some of the world’s foremost subject matter experts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to develop and gain agreement on the commercial and marketing strategy, and lead the execution of the plan
- Execute and fully own the social content delivery, for example create social plans, captions and upload community management
- Develop an integrated marketing plan for the business that coordinates marketing activity and content across all owned channels and supports the delivery of WeRise’s commercial plan
- Create and implement the channel marketing plan each month for all brand channels and touchpoints, including the website, our App Store listings, email and push marketing, brand social media accounts, and other digital marketing channels to drive user acquisition, engagement and retention
- Develop and execute activations for new marketing campaigns to engage and grow the brand audience and support new launches
- Provide key insights into the content marketing strategy, including ideation, creation, and distribution of engaging and relevant content across the brand’s platforms
- Oversee campaign and content shoots, including coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that shoots are executed on time and within budget
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and identify areas for optimization and opportunity
- Run point on managing our roster of subject matter experts, and lead initiatives to identify, establish contact and pitch new experts and trainers for WeRise, in line with the business strategy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer and content marketing and personal development to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
Expectations of the right candidate for the role:
- Execution: You are happy to fully own the execution of the plan, and will be equally happy whether you are planning the strategy, creating customer marketing emails and push notifications, or editing a web page. Ultimately you are someone who enjoys having full ownership of the role, and responsibility for executing the plan
- Communication: You are a great communicator and are very comfortable presenting the brand to third parties, and you understand how to flex your style to the audience
- Sales: You understand the need to always be selling and pitching because this is how ambitious businesses grow fast
- Autonomous: You are self-starting and thrive working independently and autonomously
- Data Driven: You have a great understanding of data and what it means as it relates to your role and responsibilities
- Impeccable Standards: You set very high standards for yourself and others, and are relentless in your desire to deliver work of the highest quality
- Digital Focused: You have relevant experience of digital content businesses, mobile apps and/or fitness
- Industry Experience: You have experience working with creators and influencers and have a deep understanding of the power of audiences
- Social Media & Content Savvy: You have a great understanding of content and are naturally knowledgeable of social media, trends and what content formats are most effective at driving traffic and engagement
Role Details:
- Based in Los Angeles
- Role is hybrid working, split between working from home and working from our Spring Place office in Beverley Hills
- Role requires candidate to be able to meet Senada and other subject matter experts in person for shoots, meetings, content drives etc. from time to time
- Role requires minimum 3+ years of marketing and consumer brand related experience
