The Business Analyst/Project Manager is responsible for driving financial optimization and operational efficiency through strategic analysis and innovative solutions to overarching business questions. With a focus on finance, data visualization, statistical analysis, and project management, you diagnose stakeholder pain points and implement tailored strategies to enhance decision-making and drive sustainable business growth.

Analyst Duties:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the organization's performance, analyzing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and monitor.
- Develops reports, dashboards and visualizations that represent large, complex sets of data and performs statistical analysis to advise department leaders and other stakeholders on key business initiatives.
- Performs financial analysis of operating results including analysis of monthly financial results, both from a top line and bottom-line perspective.
- Drive enhancements to CEFCO budgeting methodologies, ensuring greater accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Establish robust tracking mechanisms for operational initiatives, monitoring progress and advising on company performance.
- Provides accurate market feedback and competitive intelligence, including price input, to accelerate profitability and growth forecasts.
- Assists stakeholders with the definition and documentation of existing business processes and assists with the definition of future state.
Project Management:
- At the direction of the VP, Regional Operations creates projects plans, monitors progress, and reports results.
- Observes team dynamics, project progress and identifies gaps based on day-to-day interaction with the team to propose solutions to ongoing project problems.
- Acts as Project Manager for new store openings within the assigned region, coordinating with internal and external providers to ensure store opens as scheduled.
Qualifications:
3+ years’ data analytics experience; 1+ years’ project management experience; must have experience with reporting, data management, or data analysis, data visualization software and ad hoc reporting; advanced skills in MS Office Suite – must have strong aptitude with Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data mining, analysis, power query), must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, accept new responsibilities and achieve results; must possess the ability to draw conclusions from extensive data and present it in an understandable format; must have strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills, and be able to interact with all levels in an organization.
