This is a part-time 18-hour per-week, on-site Internship.
The internship is for 3 months with the possibility to negotiate an independent contractor position.
You will learn a variety of aspects of marketing and communications.
The ideal Marketing Intern candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and copywriting. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different marketing platforms and tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the realization of marketing campaigns for social media and email campaigns.
- Conduct an informal focus group and gather feedback for market research.
- Eager to creatively write short-form and long-form articles, advertising copy, and consumer-facing marketing copy.
- Plan, market, and present at an informational meeting.
- Utilize social media and develop strategies for web-based messaging.
- Maintain awareness of current food&beverage industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
- Communicate drafts to receive feedback and write edits
- Co-author creative briefs and collaborate across marketing, product, and business development departments
- Assisting with new seasonal product uploads and noting product specifications
- Helping with the logistics of the sales.
Qualifications
- Excellent organization, communication, presentation skills, strong communication, conceptual thinking and design skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Be willing to adapt to a small team and the challenges of a start-up
- Comfortable working independently and multi-tasking between assignments
- Ability to commit to 20 hours per week
- Potential to turn into a part-time or full-time position if the candidate shows exceptional skills
