We are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to become a part of our team in Santa Monica. This is not a hybrid position. This role facilitates all commercial property management activities for an approximately 500,000 square foot portfolio of 7-10 retail and office properties. Salary based on experience.
- Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day functions including AR, AP, and Repairs and Maintenance
- Manage Lease Administration, critical dates, tenant notices
- Oversee Tenant Improvements and Capital Improvements
- Input and manage Yardi lease data for the portfolio
- Prepare financial analysis, annual budgets, and CAM reconciliations
- Manage vendor and tenant relations
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints
- Update and improve properties to increase return on investment
- Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
- Supervise and train property staff
- Enforce property rules and regulations
- Provide bi-weekly Portfoio Review updates to the team
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years previous experience as Commercial Property Manager overseeing retail properties
- Proficiency with inputting retail leases and managing tenant ledgers in Yardi Voyager
- Proficiency in drafting and interpreting real estate contracts and leases
- Strong vendor relations and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to oversee Tenant Improvements and Capital Improvements
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet proficiency required
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
