Role Summary:
As an Operations Manager, you will be integral to the management and growth of our parking facility operations. Reporting to the Regional Vice-President, your role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from overseeing daily operations to driving business development and maintaining client relationships. This role is key to achieving our annual operating objectives, aligning operations with company goals, managing and training personnel, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and handling requests and resolving issues in a proactive and timely way.
· New Business Development and Retention: Lead initiatives for finding new business opportunities and formulating ways to improve client retention.
· Team Leadership and Human Resources: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing management team; oversee staffing, training, and disciplinary actions. Training includes being responsible for new hire orientation, completing new hire paperwork, and issuance of uniforms.
· Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, event coordination, financial oversight, and ensure compliance with company policies.
· Strategic Planning and Client Relations: Engage in strategic planning and maintain
· Manage Multiple Technology Systems: Learn and manage the company’s internal monthly parking system along with a variety of parking equipment technology platforms and solutions.
Job Duties:
· Team Leadership: Cultivate a diverse, customer-focused professional service team.
· Timely Reporting and Effective Communication: Ensure accurate report completion and responsive client communication.
· Operational Excellence: Manage facilities in line with company policies and oversee maintenance and operational challenges. Continual review of each parking operation with the ability to make ongoing service recommendations internally and externally to clients. Adhering to contractual obligations for each client location.
· Marketing and Strategy: Develop, implement, and maintain marketing and operating strategies to maximize parking facility revenue.
· Client Relations: Develop and retain client relationships, maximizing technology and operational efficiency.
· Event Coordination: Manage and operate special events and address parking displacements effectively.
· Financial Oversight: Manage operations within budget and review financial performance (P&L Statements) of multiple locations. This includes auditing daily revenue collection and various paperwork and administrative processes.
· Safety and Security: Conduct safety audits and promote a secure working environment.
· Professional Development: Stay current with parking industry knowledge and implement best practices. This includes a mix of parking industry association led virtual training and in-person training events.
· Project Management: Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will lead your team to ensure that project requirements are met with a passion to strive for excellence in how your team achieves the deliverables.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years in management, including parking management and business development. Will consider candidates with over 5 years of management experience in related industries such as hospitality, property management or retail services.
· Management Skills: Strong leadership, computer literacy (MS Office), superior communication and analytical abilities.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Salary: $75,000 to 85,000 per year
